2023 Mercedes-AMG EQE SedanMercedes’ newest electric sedan will start at just under $75,000, with fully-equipped models asking for $91,500.

Mercedes is on track to switch to electric by the end of the decade. To get there, she slowly introduces an electric equivalent to each of her gas-powered cars. The 2023 EQE Sedan is the battery-powered equivalent of the E-Class.

It’s slightly larger on the outside than the popular E-Class, and much bigger on the inside, thanks to the lack of a transmission tunnel. The EQE has a more curved look as well, with a sleek, slightly oversized look and a glossy black panel covered in a subtle star pattern instead of the traditional grille.

Inside, it is simply luxurious. The available Hyperscreen covers the entire dashboard in a single continuous touch screen surface. Options include several digital audio scenes to fill in the absence of engine noise.

The EQE is available as a single-engine EQE 350+ rear-wheel drive 288 hp, a dual-motor EQE 350 4Matic with all-wheel drive (AWD) and the same 288 hp, or the EQE 500 4Matic with 402 hp and an AWD setup.
