Authentic Leadership
For healthcare companies to be successful, leadership is crucial. Several researchers have studied the subject of leadership and the many attitudes and actions that improve organizational results. The existence of authentic leadership in building self-efficacy and resilience to cope with professional pressures is suggested by Laschinger, Borgogni, Consiglio, and Read (2015). The observation is supported by Rsegan, Laschinger, and Wong (2016), who show a connection between authentic leadership and nurses’ empowerment at work. Transformational leadership is one of the natural leadership philosophies in nursing, where the leader empowers followers to work together for organizational success (Aga, Noorderhaven, & Vallejo, 2016; Marshall & Broome, 2017). As a result, I work hard to develop my transformational and honest leadership.
Describe my core values in a few words.
I now understand how crucial moral principles are to a leader’s success in the healthcare industry. My fundamental principles are honesty, openness, humility, patience, morality, and commitment. When I am working with my coworkers and patients, I put these ideals into practice. Over the years, I have discovered that the principles provide me the power to establish a welcoming workplace that encourages team and individual growth. These norms are the foundation for transformational leadership (Marshall & Broome, 2017). In addition, they support my ability to lead others effectively.
An individual’s mission and vision
My goal as a leader is to develop the skills necessary to help people reach there and the group’s objectives via collaboration and empowerment. To increase quality results, I aim to assemble a team of empowered, enthusiastic, and dedicated caregivers.
An examination of my CliftonStrengths evaluation
I identified five themes from my assessment: futuristic, relator, insightful, learner, and responsibility. I have a clear vision for the future since I am a futuristic leader who is future-focused. As a realtor, I collaborate with others to carry out the group’s vision, objectives, and goals. The intellectual motif alludes to my inventiveness when collaborating with others to accomplish goals. Being a learner demonstrates my dedication to lifelong learning to enhance performance. The idea of responsibility makes clear that I am responsible for my accomplishments and shortcomings.
