Abstract
Businesses now conduct business online thanks to the development of computers and the Internet. Technology is used by many multinational corporations to market and sell their goods. Leaders in the e-commerce industry, Amazon and eBay are two examples of these businesses. Although both businesses employ online resources to accomplish their objectives, their business models are different. Amazon sells directly to customers, but eBay employs technology to match sellers and customers through an auction mechanism. The utilization of cloud computing is, nevertheless, very comparable. Although Amazon develops the service internally and even outsources to other customers, eBay receives cloud computing from a third-party service provider. The applications of artificial intelligence by the two companies vary. While Amazon uses the idea to gather data for decision-making to improve the quality of items and services supplied to customers, eBay uses it to connect sellers with the appropriate buyers.
