Empowerment: Does Organizational Justice Predict It?
Introduction
The accomplishment of organizational productivity depends on empowerment. Such assistance is essential for nurses, particularly in the modern workplace dominated by technology. Several factors influence the degree of empowerment among nursing practitioners. However, research still needs to be done on how the variable interacts with elements at the corporate level, like organizational justice. Does Organizational Justice Predict Empowerment?, the article under review, By analyzing the connection between empowerment and organizational justice, Kuokkanen et al. (2014) .’s study “Nurses Assess Their Work Environment” addressed a research gap.
The subject of the review’s opening section is whether the study was necessary. According to the analysis, the study was required because, in light of the considerable changes that have taken place in the healthcare industry, such as an increase in the use of technology, nursing professionals place a high value on empowerment. In addition, the study was necessary since there are gaps in the research on the contribution of organizational justice to establishing employee empowerment in nursing (Kuokkanen et al., 2014). The study was necessary to identify organizational factors that impact empowerment, such as organizational justice. From the perspective of nurses who work in healthcare organizations, the researchers needed to ascertain the relationship between the variables. The study would help healthcare management increase organizational justice, employee empowerment, and efficiency.
